Privacy Policy – Tuner
Last updated: October 17, 2026
Tuner is a chromatic tuning application developed by Felipe Díaz de Vivar. This Privacy Policy explains how the application accesses and handles user information.
1. Microphone Access
Tuner requires access to the device's microphone to detect musical pitches and provide real-time tuning information.
Audio signals are processed locally on the device. The application does not record, store, or transmit microphone audio to external servers.
Microphone access is used exclusively for the tuning functionality and is subject to the user's permission through the Android operating system.
2. Data Collection and Sharing
Tuner does not collect, store, or share personal information.
The application does not require user registration or personal identification.
No audio recordings or personal information are transmitted to the developer or third parties.
3. Third-Party Services
Tuner does not use advertising networks, analytics services, or third-party tracking systems.
4. Data Storage and Security
Audio analysis is performed locally and in real time.
The application does not maintain external databases containing user information.
Any application preferences saved locally on the device can be removed by clearing the application's data or uninstalling it.
5. Data Retention and Deletion
Tuner does not retain microphone recordings or personal user data.
Since no personal data is stored on external servers, no server-side deletion request is necessary.
6. Children's Privacy
Tuner is a general-purpose musical tool intended for teenagers and adults. It is not specifically designed for children under the age of 13.
7. Changes to This Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated to reflect changes in the application's functionality or applicable requirements. Any updates will be published on this page.
